1 week old 2012 with a top already a mess
 
Today got behind a nice looking new red 2012 SS convert. The temp tags were no more than a week old, and the top on the drivers side was already a mess. I thought they had a fix for that. Then I saw that the selling dealer was mine. That explains everything. Nothing is too low for them. Not long ago, I asked them if the top issue had been fixed. They said they never heard of top issues. Any wonder why people hate some dealers?

I worked for one of those companies once - lie, cheat, steal, anything to make a sale. Sad way to live, at least it was for me. Luckily I didn't have to sell, since I was the trainer. Was laid off pretty quickly - good thing.

The sad part is that there are consumers out there that don't know any better and just think .. well, that's the way it's supposed to be :facepalm:

I had no clue what I was in for when I bought mine. I stumbled across you all and have actually used your knowledge and advice to have a great experience with my service department. I was able to go in there and know what I was talking about when it came to the marks on my top. 2012 built 4/11 with one new canvas replaced. Completely happy I bought this car!

Just find a good, reputable service department and go with it. Now go drive that car!

Glad you were taken care of. Unfortunately, good dealers are as hard to find as beautiful women with a good personality! (I got lucky on the later)

Convert Top Issues
 
I have a 2012 convert SS......and I had top issues! I love my dealer! They said that GM knows about these issues and has redesigned a new top and I got one !!!!!! Warranty covered the entire thing.......fits great, no problems! :clap2:
