V6 & V8 Sway bars

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the sway bars on the LT camaro versus the sway bars on the SS camaro? I'm wondering if there would be any benefit to swapping out my V6's for some SS sway bars if they were available, and if they are interchangable.

I was told by the folks at MTI Racing that they were interchangable. I am not sure of the difference in diameters (if any). I replaced mine with aftermarket sways. There is a world of difference.
