DRL Harness
 

Can someone tell me why the DRL Harnes actually does? I'm talking about the harness that plugs into the light and then into the plug? I've had a a camaro for about a month and I'm just curious about little things like that

I think you ment WHAT it does.
Without the harness, during the day when you drive only the DRLs will be on. At night when you turn the headlight on the DRLs will go out.
With the harness in, the DRLs will stay on with the headlights.

you can splice the parking light and hot wire, then solder them together(I spliced them and them soldered a 14 gauge wire to join them and put heat shrink over the solder)... that is what I did... I mean I am an electrician by trade, but its nothing even a novice can't do, plenty of write ups online if needed...

you're also going to want to get rid of the yellow Halogens, I went with P13W Xenon White LED Bulbs, only like $40 for the set
