Hurst shifter
 

Will the Hurst T handle fit on a stock Chevy shifter. I have a 1LT 6 speed. Basically is the thread the same.

There are no threads on the stock shifter. It is a press on knob. You would have to cut some threads.

Thanks guys appreciate the info. Had an old one from my '69 Camaro and thought I could use it. Guess not.

There is a member here who cut his own threads and was able to make these threaded knobs work. It can be done.

Summit p/n is HUU-1630056 for the Hurst shifter 6speed ball but the shifter shaft has to be threaded to 9/16 x18 threads, But its a PIA get started but can be done, did this mod myself. could buy an adapter which you put over the shift lever and has threads on the outside. thats how i put my barton pistol grip on.
