Winter Hibernation

It's been a great run but time to put the beast away for the winter. Looking forward to being back on the streets in the spring.

That's just what I did on the weekend. I like your cover.
It was sad. I'll have to get a pic of the sleeping beast.

Getting up on the FlatStoppers was tricky, my garage is really tight. Have to get it rolling just fast enough to get on so that all get centered.

Gee and down here we look forward to winter, so there is some cool dry air ... Now only if we can keep the "SnowBirds" from heading south for the winter !!! LOL

What kind of battery tender is that hanging on the wall?

Put mine away too, before photo's with the Chevelle and photo's of ZL1 going into the bubble for the winter. Sad weekend here in Wisconsin weather for S**t and time to put the cars away for winter.

No mice, no possible way something could damage the car, protect it better.

Thanks. I got my cover from ShopChevyParts.com. It is hard to make out in the picture but it has little ZL1 logos in a checkered pattern. It fit really nice and is perfect for indoor storage.

I lined up the Flatstoppers while my wife drove the car up onto them. She pulled up on them a little to slow and ended up spinning the back tires before it dropped into the groove. Thankfully they didn't slip a bit on the floor.

My battery tender is an Optima 400 charger. I just connected to the battery cables under the hood. The same place you would use for jump starting. It is a really nice setup and includes a bracket for wall mounting and it works on both AGM and standard batteries.

That bubble is very nice. I also like the 70 Chevelle SS.

Love your Chevelle. Fathom blue right? I used to have one that color with black stripes.
