Day 1. Swapping out that sissy sounding exhaust. Really though lol, I don't think there it a set mileage when things start breaking. Probably different for everyone.

:noidea:
Impossible to answer this question but if I had to guess... somewhere between 5 and 200,000 miles.

$500 is not major work, thats not even going to pay for brakes.

midnighter 06-25-2013 12:06 PM

5k miles

GuitarJozz 06-25-2013 05:56 PM

Have there been any sort of reliability tests or anything done for the 5th gens yet by anyone?

snaphappy 06-25-2013 06:05 PM

I'm at 28,000 miles. Perfection so far.

It's too early to tell.

Changing out a few tires will blow past your "major" repair mark of 500. Honestly there are many camaros that have made it 100k miles without a repair, just regular maintenance.

Just keep your factory bumper2bumper and then extend it. In my eyes, it's not worth voiding your warranty for more horsepower unless you are serious about racing. These cars are fast enough, and you can add enough bolt ons to keep it sounding great/feeling more responsive without affecting the warranty. That way everything that does go wrong is covered.

Really?

EastWood-SS 06-27-2013 07:20 AM

depends. Do you baby the car or use it for track days? A Daily driver?

Mine's a garage queen, personally.
