Saving Money!!! DIY Engin dress up
So I want to dress up my engine bay, but do not have the money for the aftermarket dress up kits. Really don't want to spend $600 to dress up the engine. So I started with cardboard and cut it out to fit the area's that I want to cover.
Here is the mock up.......... http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...psb325691e.jpg And some close ups...... http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...psd457879b.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...psdf548b88.jpg |
The first piece out of the shop..........

I just did the designing/mock up work with the cardboard the actual metal work is being handled by my father. He is a machinist and has access to everything. If all goes well I may make extras.
