My headlights
Hey everyone I wanted to ask a question about my 2012 lt camaro non rs, I wana get the eagle eye headlights from this sight http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2011-20...fd1a9a&vxp=mtr
Anyways what are projectors? And how is installation? Please please please answer detailed answers on projectors please |
I'm not 100% on this, but projectors are a type of headlight that still run a halogen bulb, but had the type of housing that an HID-style light has. At least that was my understanding.

The projectors are the center piece of the housing where the headlight shines through. I believe it is a magnifier to help pinpoint the light source, a more focused beam. If you want to upgrade later to HID, all you will need is the HID kit, since the projectors are already there.
The install is fairly simple, but you will have to remove your front bumper. Takes longer the first time you do it...once you are done, you will say...wow that wasn't so hard. :) The install is pretty straight forward. |
Bud if you want the oem rs headlights check out ofers setup. Im on my phone so I can't get you links. Im sure someone here can hook you up with his links. Ofers lights are about 1/3 the cost of oems

Alright bud...for some reason his link for the lights aren't working....but here is the link to the lights.
http://www.gen5diy.com/exterior/RS_h...s/rs-headlight Here is the link to the harness you will need http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...ight-harness-2 This will all run you $900 which is much better than the 2500 the factory will charge. These are the factory lights. This is Ofers profile. Ask him anything you need and check out his site. He has a ton of cool stuff. Good luck! Pm me if you have any questions. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/member.php?u=4916 |
