We install Eibachs and hawk pads. Done. Fire it up. Awesome! Can't punch it, canned tune on for now. Have another cold one. It was a long weekend, but done. I really like doing everything all at once.
Off to get custom tune. Pics of it lowered. |

Ok, where did we left off. Oh, off to dyno. So we car hauled it to a local performance place. Oh man, totally forgot. I did a baseline a few days before we started the performance install. Long story short, I was getting 424 RWHP & RWTQ stock. What, really.

He thought it was one of those "freak" engines. I was so excited. Got a call later that day, the computer was holding a old file and wasn't releasing it. So it was off by about 10%+/- So lets call it 375.

Techs did there magic. Got 6.5PSI, no larger fuel pump or boost required.
|
514 RWHP & 464 RWTQ. Not that the numbers are bad, but I was disappointed. 500 At the rears, no one should complain. But everyone here was getting 550 RWHP & 500 RWTQ + with the same set up. Tech then said "other guys numbers must be on a Dyno Jet. They are minimal 10% more!" Looked into it, yup. That's true. Soooo, that puts me at 565 RWHP & 510 RWTQ converting it to Dyno Jet numbers! Happy happy now.

I picked up the car and drove it home. WHOA! Ridiculous, stupid, unbelievable power. A totally new beast. Hey Beast, I like that. Finally a name for my car. My son confirmed he like that name for the car. Done. Beast it is.

Next day I picked up all the appearance parts from my uncle. Gave some cash for the paint, and a case of for his time. Gotta love family. So my uncle says " let's put all the stuff on on Saturday". What, everything. All at once. Here we go again. I jack the car up on Friday, start removing the stripes. Since I'm doing he ACS TL1 hood insert, stripes have to go. I start with the trunk. I just use a hair dryer and warm up the vinyl. Took my time, comes off easy. Wife still doesn't know...lol
