Best Hi-temp break fluid?

Im flushing my break/clutch this weekend, any luck on a particular brand or product?

caverman 05-30-2013 01:27 PM

Motul 600

It took me about 2 bottles to flush mine out.

BTW: You should put on a separate clutch reservoir while you're at it.

+1. I dont have a manual, but a lot of dudes on this forum swear by needing a separate reservoir.

I have the reservoir separated, and i change my fluid after every tank,it's bronze in color.I couldn't imagine my brake fluid looking like that.

If you want the best - Castol SRF. But it's also like $70 a liter.

It took you 2 bottles all together?

Correct.....and that gave me a little for the clutch reservoir as well. Although I go through enough fluid for the clutch reservoir that I normally just use Prestone DOT4 that I get from local car store or walmart.

Do a search for clutch reservoir on here and you'll find plenty of info.
