Note to prospective sunroof buyers
I was reading some sunroof threads and I was kind of shocked when I heard people say they are (anywhere from 5"10-6"2) complaining of headroom and some saying it's impossible to be comfortible.
I am 6"5 1/2 and can say FOR SURE that if you make the proper seat adjustments , THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM and it's very comfortable and there's nothing like letting the roof back and letting the SHARK FIN stick out :chevy::chevy::chevy::chevy: 6'5 = LOVE MY SUNROOF |
And I also didn't know what a reverse mohawk was until a week ago when my brother in law showed me on his SS (we are neighbors I never noticed it). I have never noticed it and am sure 100% of non-camaro drivers don't either lol

I have a sunroof and love the thang......I learned about the "Mohawk" on a post no less. So Imathinking your right....gotta know the car to see it.

Casper has the sunroof and im 5-10. I have no problems sitting inside of Casper. Very comfortable. I have smacked my head a few times but only because my wife is 5-6 and sometimes she moves the seat around.

The height issue aside, isn't the overhead integrity of the structure reduced by a sunroof in the same way a convertible top does, only less so? I'm thinkin' of how the sunroof would require a roll cage at a lower speed pass than a solid roofed car. What are the NHRA rules regarding sunroofs?

Love my sunroof!

I'd love to have ordered mine with a sunroof, and wanted to. Till I saw the first pics with the sunroof open. Just looks cheap as hell to me when it's open. |
I love mine and use it all the time.

I'm 6'2" and more of my height comes from my body than my legs. I sat in a sunroof SS and put the seat as far down as it would go and could feel my hair hitting the headliner unless I reclined the seat more than I wanted to. Wearing a hat seemed out of the question.

No problem at all. Love it.
