A little hobby I picked up
 
I'm in the middle of building our project car (02 vette) and I started powder coating so I figured I'd have at a few parts.
Sorry 2 of thE pictures are sideways, idk how to fix them on a iPad
Rotors and caliper brackets

I also did the rear sway bar links and brackets, doing the front this week

Is it a good idea to powdercoat the actual part of the rotor that comes in contact with the pad?

Well it doesn't matter sence I can resurface rotors the one fully powdered is b4 I turned it and the one that has particially done was already shaved (turned)
If you don't have a machine to do this it'll cost you from 10-20$ to get them resurfaced

That's a great idea to paint the rotors then turn them :w00t:. I got something to think about doing next.
