how does this measure boost ? The physical boost gauges I have seen require you to run a line to vacuum for a turbo/supercharger, is this already measured and sent to OBD2 ?

There is a MAP sensor on the Camaro, so the OBD2 can read vacuum and boost. No extra sensor needed. It also will read fuel pressure without buying another sensor.

So this will work with ipod touch too?

Yes, it works with IPod Touch as well as IPhone.

I've read in some vehicles it does not read boost properly, I see your car is supercharged, are you getting proper boost readouts?

Seems to read properly, it gets the same signal that the tuner got for tuning the car.

Yes it's worth the $40, you have to get the KiWi PLX wifi device to make the guages and diagnostics work. You can't do tuning with this, but you can monitor a number of perameters.

Dang it!!! close but no cigar! :mad0260:

Couldnt find it in the current marketplace, but with everything in the Android OS being open source, it's only a matter of time before something is developed and available...

So can you clear your check engine light with this? Because I want LT's and don't want to have a tune done to the car, this would be a perfect program.

BLACK10 01-06-2010 04:52 PM

will this work on the samsung solstice?

Class1E 01-06-2010 06:19 PM

Nice! Wish they had it for the BB Storm though.

No, It's only for the IPhone and IPod Touch at this time.

Yes, but not that accurate. It is measured with the accelerometer in the phone, and is effected by wheel slippage, etc.

Yes you can check trouble codes and reset them on the IPhone or IPod.
