WHAT CAN I DO TO GET TO 350 HP

How can I get to 350HP...without buying an SS

2013 2LT\RS: 323 HP Stock from the factory

Mods so far: MRT2 Exhaust, Volant Power Core CAI

Anything else I can do to get to 350HP, if not what HP do should I be at with just the CAI and Exhaust

RWHP or at the crank? Headers should be your next mod the a tune...

It's 323HP at the crank. Get a cat-back with hi-flow cats (meow), ported throttle body, and a tune. It will probably get you close to that. Unfortunately, the tune will void your warranty.

How do you know it doesn't make 350 horsepower already?

Do you take it to the track? Have you had it on a dyno?

Short of a tune, you are about as close as you are going to get. A complete exhaust (downpipe and midpipe) will get you a bit more than you have now. Right now I would guess you are at about 340-345 at the crank.

According to this thread, his car should be around ~270rwhp depending on the dyno. His car is also standard so it should output a tiny bit more. He won't know for sure until he dynos it.

No headers on the LFX

I only have the MRT2 Axel back, and intake with that i should be at around 340-345??

I don't think you can do headers on the LFX. They're integrated.

you still haven't answered crank or wheel horsepower?

edit: actually, short of getting a tune, you are pretty much stuck with what you have. might be able to squeeze 5hp with ported throttle body and opening the exhaust some...

Just a guess. You need to dyno to get a rough idea. Figuring 15% drivetrain loss, then 340 Crank HP should be about 289 at the wheels. There's at least one that made 270 with just a CAI, but we don't know his baseline. It seems possible you could have 340 at the crank with the better flowing MRT2, but you might have picked up nothing. Really, the best single gain on an LFX is with a tune. But that will void your warranty, so you are very limited in what you can do.
