3rd Annual Camaros for Heroes
 

Camaros for Heroes 3 is in full swing again.... Looking forward to another very successful event here in Fayetteville NC. Below the flyer provides the dates for 2013, which is the same as the last event. It will be on Fathers Day weekend, held at Fayetteville Motorsports Park. We are working on some new events for this year, as many remember this years hotel parking lot activities were a blast, and looking to add to that.

Subscribe to this thread for more updates including the Hotel and events. Just for now.... we are looking into another hotel, just for more room, but if it's not affordable.. we will most likely return to the same one as this year, the Candlewood.

In the immediate, The track has confirmed our dates, so thats a go, and the mobile dyno is already good to go.... So get ready!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again. :drinking:

The entry fee's are the same as well, and I'm starting a sign up list now... so please post up and I will add you to the list


Camaros For Heroes Sequence of Events
Friday:
2PM – Check in begins at Host Hotel
6PM – Line Cars up at Harley Davidson for Cruise
7PM – Police Escort Cruise around Fayetteville
8PM – Meet and Greet At Host Hotel
@8:15PM – Auction at Host Hotel
@9PM – Vehicle Light Show competition, Awards afterwards

Saturday:
9AM – Gates open at Fayetteville Motor Sports Park, 4480 Doc Bennett Road
9AM – 11AM – Car Show Registration
9AM until Closing - Mobile Dyno open for use
10AM – National Anthem
10: 30AM or when weather permits – Drag Racing begins
@1:30-PM – Car Show awards and 50/50 raffle drawing at car show area
@3PM – Main Raffle Drawing at main CFH tent
3:30PM – Registration and briefing for Bracket Race
4PM – 6PM – Single elimination Bracket Racing, Awards afterwards, Highest HP award from Dyno
7:30PM – After Event get together at Host Hotel
@8PM Harlem Shake Video Shoot


Friday
-Arrive at the hotel, check in at 3pm
-Cruise starts at 7pm, will line up at Cape Fear Harley Davidson (across the street)
-Auction starts following the cruise at the hotel
-Loudest exhaust with award
-Custom light show with awards after dark
-DJ onsite for parking lot activities :drinking:
-Vendors if they wish to setup


Saturday
-All day at the track!
-Car and truck show with awards
-Test and Tune throughout the day
-Mobile dyno with highest HP award
-Bracket Race with top 3 awards and cash prize to winner (amount TBD)
-Raffle
-50/50 drawing
-Scott Settlemire will be here

Plan on being there. Will do my best in drag racing but you know how I like to run on banked turns and road courses. See everyone in June...
