I need car help, car heads.

I want to put Halo lights on my Camaro LS. It's as basic as you can possibly buy it. I recieved it from my parents as a grad present. I can do this right? Does anyone know of a kit I can get to do it quickly?

Btw the goal is to get new rims, paint my calipers, buy slotted roaters, get the halo headlights, maybe fog lights, smoke the tail lights and maybe a new grill.

So far: Tinted my windows and put nice leather in it.

Please no technical terms, i'm ignorant when it comes to cars. =/

Spending the $1000 or whatever for RS style HID's and then smoking them would be a complete waste. If the halo is all you want, Oracle makes a kit for $170. http://www.automotivelightstore.com/DualColorSALE.aspx

He wants to make his taillights, not the headlights.

Yeah that's what the kit i linked to is for. At least their video shows the halo kit installed in non-HIDs.

Yes sir..just like yours...Total cost: Eagle Eye Halos (Ebay) $375/pr.
AAC HID Kit (8000k) $225

I'm right at $600.00 for lights that according to my dealerships part dept cost approx $1800.00 plus install for OEM and BCM updates...

Awesome! I got another question for ya. You seem to have fog lights, did you do that yourself or was that part of your car already? Cause i kind of want to put in fogs too lol.

And thank you Reto, im taking a look at their goods now.

Yep, did those myself too. easy install once you get the front off. BUT I'll have to update once I see how I'm going to wire the halos-They're supposed to wire to the side markers, and that's what I have my fog lights wired to now. I MAY wire a switch for the fogs and halos like a lot of folks did..

I got my foglights/harness from gmpartsdirect. Here's the link:

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm

a link to the diagram:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

You have to make sure you get the part numbers listed in the diagram and you only need ONE harness, not two..So that's TWO bezels TWO On the LS, there's NO connector for the fog lights on the main harness, so I spliced the connectors on the new harness to the sidemarker lamps (it's easier than it sounds)

That way they come on automatically with the headlights at night or you can run them with the parking lights only.

The fog lights really make a difference, giving me a wider field of view at night, besides looking good!!

Any updates on the lights? You still working on them?
