I agree. After trying to be resonable and going through proper channels (Placing in moderator suggestion) those of us who would like to keep up to date on ANY infomation and/or discussions involving the convertible may have to take this into our own hands. Some of us (:iono:) will keep generating dialog within this thread until we get our sticky and/or forum:paddle:

Alright vert fans lets keep this going till we get our share!

I've tried this before too. Seems *someone* up there doesn't like the 'vert.

RafCon 10-15-2010 07:03 PM

it would be nice instead of having to search for keywords... or different forums for info. I think it is necessary.

Yes I would agree on a separate thread area for the verts. It is very time consuming to do detective work to find news specific to the convertible release, production model showing and production dates, pricing, etc.

So does anyone know where else the production convertible will be on display beyond the LA Show next month?

See...you made the jump to the new unOFFICIAL convertible forum.:happyanim: I've reposted your question here so hopefully you'll get an answer.

PS I heard rumor it might be seen at SEMA, but I have my doubts.

Convertible Order Update 9/30/2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dealers can start to submit both stock and sold orders into Order Workbench on Thursday, November 18, 2010.

Production of the 2011 Camaro Convertible is planned to begin at Oshawa in mid January 2011.

The Camaro Convertible features a fully powered, soft convertible top. Like the Camaro Coupe, the convertible will be available with either the 3.6L V6 or the 6.2L V8 engine. The six speed manual transmission is standard, and the six speed automatic transmission with tap shift is optional. Most of the coupe packaging carries over to the convertible. The exception is the convertible will be offered in LT and SS trim levels only. Like the coupe, the 1LT and 1SS trim levels feature cloth interiors, while the 2LT and 2SS trim levels feature leather-appointed interiors. The RS Exterior Package will also be available on the convertible.

The starting MSRP for the convertible will be $30,000 (including $850 DFC, excluding tax, title, license and other fees)

I'll be happy to be the Convertible Guide....:chevy:
and give all the info as it is announced!!
Good Idea?

I'll be available to answer any questions....

Thanks Becky. Would love to have you onboard. I informally asked a question about EPG on the Dealer Question thread for you. Feel free to repost the question/answer here:D

ON THE GARAGE DOOR SILLY!

Although I imagine they will figure out a spot in the car for the garage door remotes to be installed........hmmmmmm........maybe the steering wheel? or even the console.

They definitely MUST change the shark fin location from the photos that I have seen so far.
