Something you don't see a 2010 Camaro doing every day...
This is impressive and disapointing. It's disapointing to how sow someone rish there Camaro's engine like this... It's hard to look at.:yikes:

Well it definetely has the power to tow!!
Where the hell did he get a hitch for it? |
That is not hard on it at all.
Isn't that the pre-production one? Look at the headlights and the V6ish lower grille.
Yeah it was a pre-production one they were testing.
What is that in the drivers side window? Oh, my bad, that's just white trash.

With over 400ftlbs of torque there isn't a whole lot of engine strain going on there ;).
theres a word that comes to mind...
WHY! |
who would do that must have a few short circuits in the brain
That car is a test MULE relax people. look at the headlights

Hey man if you need to move. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! But, I think I would have rented a Penske truck.
Thats an IVER that GM was testing during development. That is not a production Camaro...

I dont see the issue.. I know when I get one it may end up with a hitch. It will be my only car so if I need to tow anything, Uhaul, Bike Rack, jet ski etc I will only have that one option.
The only issue with towing using a car is usually the frame/body not being up to the job. I dont think the camaro has that issue. |
I think its more concerning as to why someone would add a hitch onto the camaro...
As has been stated. This pic was taken in like August of 2008. They had their testing equipment and personal stuff in here while they drove for tests.
LMAO @ the replies..............The car was a test mule. Even if it wasn't it would tow that very easily.
Sports cars and trailer hitches = oil and water.
Awwww... because a car, nonetheless a sports car is towing a trailer? Get over yourselves people!
I towed one of those with my 2003 Cavalier. I had no other choice. Fontana handled it like a champ so I'm sure the 'Maro could, pre- or post-production.
when i was moving over the summer I saw an SS being fitted with a hitch at the uhaul place

I towed a ski boat all over the east behind my 71' Nova and never an issue. No reason you can't with the Camaro. To each his own if you want to tow with it go for it.
funny, but i wouldn't do it though.

You can really tell the difference between the new members and the old ones in this thread. All of us that have been here a while remember when that picture was new.
