Oil filter info not available at oil change shop

I just got my oil changed at a Valvoline shop. Their computer didn't have the oil filter for my V6. They did ask if it was the same engine as the Cadillac CTS. It turned out to be the same, which is what I expected.

glad they realized it was the same engine. next time id ask before having services done to make sure they can do them .

I did ask when I pulled in. It is a quick oil change shop so it only took a few minutes to figure out if they could do it. I never would have left the car not knowing.

I work at a quick oil change place and ALOT of the computers wont have 2010 models in there system till like well 2010 lol which is stupid, but that also depends on the system. All you have to do is ask if they have a CTS filter. Like camarospike said at least they realized it was a CTS motor. If they use Pennzoil products the filter number is a PZ-55 for the V-6
