Edelbrock Blower Question

I have a customer that is bringing in his 2011 SS that already has a stock Edelbrock blower on his stock motor. We are building him a stout long blower and I wanted to pulley it up (smaller blower pulley) how small can I go without slipping the 6 rib and what should be the belt length - please and thanks in advance

Right now I have the 2.75 pulley on my E-Force with the Goodyear belt part#GDY4061030 and no slipping at all.

I would also do the fuel line mod on the rails. Have seen alot of these superchargers run the rails dry, do to the way edelbrock runs them.

Yes he is right about that and maybe some 72lbs injectors too.

What inj does Edelbrock include in their kit

They ship 52lb with the kit. Bosch 0280158187.

Bosch ZR1 52lb/hour with EV6 / USCAR Connector - Direct fit for LS9

Running the 52's that came with the blower, they are ZR1 injectors, from what I have been told. I'm at 583 RWHP with stock pully and CTS-V dual pump and module. No issues at all.

At 540rwhp the 52sīs were "almost" max out (90-98% cycle) according to my tuner.

If you are going to a smaller pulley (increasing boost) with the e-force on a stock shortblock you better feed it and tune it right or bad things will happen...the questions being asked here tell me that your experience with this blower is limited. I'd call Ted Jannetty at JRE and get some "industry-advice" before you end up with a pissed-off customer with a trashed motor.

I have no experience with the Edelbrock that is why I was asking:D I have a ton of experience with FI. As I owned Paxton Superchargers for 8 years and before that I worked there for 12 - So 20 years of Paxton, I raced Indy Car and owned a team back when it was CART and turbo'd. We also build many single and twin turbo kits for customers.

Edelbrock on a Gen 5 Camaro - not so much,

We are building this person a long block with great flowing heads and all the bottom end parts to safely support 800.:)

As for 52's. I understand and will monitor inj pres and flow. And for the record a 52 will support 756 crank HP at 60psi at .55 bsfc

This customer will be super happy with 600 rwhp so I should be safe:thumbsup:

If you need we can machine in the "Gator Grip" anti-slip patteren. No real increased wear and makes a big difference. PM me for details.

:w00t: I meant no offense and I guess I didn't quite get the part where you said you were replacing the stock internals. Sounds like it will be a beast and I will be curious to hear the results. I've been wondering what the strongest e-force build out there is to date on a gen 5 camaro?? maybe this will be the one:thumbup:
