I-Pass placement

Chicago members, where are you sticking your i-pass? I'm undecided where because I don't want it very visible from the outside. Will it work on the black section of the windshield behind the mirror?

Thanks.

I-Zoom was cheaper initially for me being an occasional tollway driver, but they work the same and are accepted anywhere...

According to the I-Zoom mounting attached, "in the blue" shouldn't be an issue.

yeah thats been an issue with me too, doesnt look good in the window, too obnoxious, was wondering even if i could get it on the sunroof, but it impedes its opening, just a tad to thick, to fit on the window or the slider. I noticed it didnt set the light off a few times when I had it up in the corner of the windshield. Ill try under the black now that someone else suggested it might work there and see if the green light goes off on quick manuel drivethroughs befoe zipping through the 55mph lanes. Can we paint them black and still work ? How long do you think they would last if mounted under the grill?

I don't think I'd paint it. I'd try some black painter's tape first since it's almost flat in finish and easy to remove. To hold mine in place I'm using a black vesion of this - http://www.ezclip.com/ezclip_new.html

It works well and can be easily removed. Also I don't think they'd last long mounted under the grill.
