i never got into manual trans cars,, i have always raced and built auto transmissions myself and they are more consistant at the drag strip and this car will be going to the track. and this auto will still be a blast to drive with the 6 speed , especially when someone comes out with a re-program for the paddle shifters to give them full control of gear selection

It should fit right in. Only issue would be setting up a dry sump oil system for the LS7 but thats not really a big deal either.

wow. we're all jealous. thanks for sharing and keeping us posted. Will you be modifying the trans? I believe I read somewhere that mistercamaro spoke with Al Oppenheiser (sp?) and Al said the trans was good to 600hp?? Don't quote me on it, but that's what i remember.

im going to put a stall in the trans while it is apart, and i will be using hp tuners to modify the ecm and tcm

not much to see, im waiting for the gm parts catalog to get the camaro listed so i can get the correct oil pick up and oil pan:

ill probly go with a vig 3000-3400 stall
