Vararam Question

Ordering one tomorrow unless someone convinces me to get another brand. Just wondering what everyone did for the radiator mounts. Using the stock nodded mounts or go with something a bit beefed.

Just cut the stock mounts. It's really no biggie. Takes maybe 10 mins at most. I personally love my vararam.

Go for it! You won't regret.

Just ordered it. Called asking about a military discount and they offered me dealer pricing with a free cleaning kit. Great people there.

Yea, the people at vararam are great guys. Incredible customer service

You will love it, Possible best mod you will get. Get the ported throttlebody next and you will love your car.

You'll love it. The change in sound alone is worth it, but the performance increase is good too.

Put a fair amount of miles on the car before you get on it as the car will need to relearn your fuel trims.

Also check the Vararam intake to make sure it hasn't moved after you drive it a time or two. (Basically check to make sure the air gap is the same). If it has closed up a bit, you may need to grind down your radiator brackets more to give more room.

Been running mine for years...no issues.

I installed a Vararam and happy with the performance.

I cut the radiator brackets to the EXACT measurements, but found that I had to trim a bit more to properly align with the TB. Still need to trim a bit more but just ordered an iceolator. That will raise the TB so I don't have to lower the Vararam.

So is everyone using the stock breather or switch it to something else?

I've been using it, but I had to replace the original one because over time it got soaked with oil from the clean side line.

An alternative would be to delete the clean side line and run some sort of oil cap with breather.

Just got it. I'm going to do a overview and write up about it with a bunch of pics tonight. Got some snow coming so I might not instal it for a few days. I can see why people say it feels cheap but looks pretty good where it counts.

Pics up. Instructions are next to useless. Bad bad bad picture quality. But its pretty simple to install and theirs a ton of vids online and pictures so that dont really matter. Can tell its hand assembled but everything looks good no cracks or anything like that.

But i will say on the rivets in it there were a few small plastic burs. Easy to clean off.

But after this snow storm comes i'll do a full overview and review of it. I'll also test it with the SS front bumper as soon as i get one. See if that tosses so more air at it.
