Spare is not an option on the SS. period.... Sorry the dealer should have known that. in act if you go to chevy's own website and download the specification sheets for the camaro it is listed right there as not available on the SS....

That's because that option is a default on all SS orders. You can't get a spare on the SS even if you wanted one because the 15" compact spare will not fit over the 14.4" rotors and Brembo brakes.

The 'Spare Tire' is referring to a 'Donut' type of tire... which doesn't come with the SS model due to the Brembo Brakes. The SPare (aka donut) wouldn't fit over/around/whatever the Brembos

the battery still goes there. not to mention it saves on production costs. it wouldnt be a smart move to change the trunk setup between v-6 and v-8 cars.

1-899-CHEVUSA. Towing good for 5/100. Or hit OnStar.

theres an air pump and some tire sealant goo

Parker 02-23-2009 09:32 PM

Will the goo ruin the sensor or is this a non-TPMS ruining goo formula? I'm not a fan of replacing a tire and sensor at the same time, although they tend to snap when you get a flat anyway.
