what the hell is this part!
 

ok so im installing showstoppers led mirrors and i drop a mirror bolt and it fell in the door. so im like no biggie i can just remove the speaker and pick bolt up. remove speaker and i find this :mad0260: what the hell is this?! wasnt hook up to nothing, no wires to it, not even bolted on. no place to even bolt it on. just chillin in my door. so im like hmmm let me check the passenger side and BAMN chilling in the door on the other side too. anybody know what the hell this is. it clearly serves no purpose for not being bolted up nor wired to anything. no part number listed on it either. only numbers on it is 516RF

and hopefully this is in the right thread or can be moved to the proper section :D

Yup. That's your door retention mechanism. It's supposed to keep your door from opening wider than the hinges allow, and the bar is usually also ribbed with pressure rollers to keep the door from swinging back closed. I can provide a picture of the part on my car.

Yep, more than likely not needed when you added the lambo door hinges.
