Street Classics starts May 18, 2013
 

Looks like Street Classics is back Saturday nights, starting Saturday, May 18, 2013 according to their website.

Eric will be heading up the CCFBG gathering there this year starting the following weekend and will be there most weekends.

Since you're our resident reporter, how's the construction/parking lot from last year?

Looks like all the new construction is finished, but not sure if they're actually open yet or if the smaller parking areas for these new places will be part of the show? Guess parking for the show would still be around Canadian Tire? Wonder if it'll be as crazy as last year? :noidea::yikes:

Anyone checking the show out this Saturday? Hope it's not too cool out there, it's supposed to be sunny this weekend, but cooler.

It was a full house, even with the colder than normal temperatures. Man was it ever cold! Some stayed and some just drove through. Think TPower was even there? There were rumours a 2014 Z28 even passed through?

As for parking, it was at Canadian Tire only, since the new buildings now eat up the spaces that were and their lots were full with their own customers.

I don't see this show lasting long. Once people, regulars and new comers, see the changes in the parking lot, many will no longer attend. They need to find a NEW VENUE.

If Canadian Tire closes early enough and the customers leave, it could still work, since the lot would still be usable. If not, then you'd have to get there extra early to grab a spot or much later after the store is is closed. :noidea:

Anyone going this Saturday (June 29), the weather is supposed to clear up by lunch time?
