Dumb question #1

Im looking at getting a tune. If I go to a shop do I have to buy a tuner/programmer, or am I just paying for the tune alone?

If you have a shop or tuner tune your car, you are just paying for the tune. Only if getting a mail order tune do you need to buy the hardware.
