Racing pedals for Camaro 1LE

During my 8 hour shitft today at work I stopped to think to myself ... Since the Camaro 1LE is race track inspired vehicle it should come completky ready for it. Better racing seats and at this point some racing pedals... At least the ones the ZL1 has..

Anyone know of any good looking racing pedals that will fit the 1LE like momo or sparco etc ?

I forgit who makes them but I saw on one of the forums a vendor selling black painted aluminum pedals with all kinds of colored stripes down the middle. They looked pretty nice but problem is they screw on top of original pedal pad, I dont like that. I might just order the G8/ZL1 pedals down the road.

Will the G8 pedals fit? Where can I get a pair of those or the ZL1 and rodent the whole gas pedal need to be changed ?

I like the ZL1 pedals myself but dont know if they can be repaced easily or if it is the entire pedal. Maybe someone Knows?

Are there any pedals like the G8 ones with a heel-toe extension?

I think there is a thread here that says that the pedals are perfectly fitted. That the gas pedal comes off and that is easy..

Aren't the G8 and ZL1 pedals the same thing? :iono:

took about 2 hours. The accelerator pedal assembly was tricky. the part number for the Zl1 pedal was different than the SS accelerator pedal so instead of plugging it in and not being able to program the throttle.....I had to bend the metal tabs very carefully and slide the cover off. Then bend them back very carefully onto the plastic accelerator pedal the SS has. Then I had to toss a perfectly good $145 pedal in the trash. The brake and clutch were hard because you have to slip them around the pedals and the metal doesn't bend like the rubber ones that came off.

I noticed a SLIGHTLY firmer feel like there was more bulk on the pedals, probably because there is. Mostly this is a very clean appearance mod. I love factory mods because of the quality and fit and finish. Also for the fact that it looks like it came from the factory that way.
Hence my factory white panels, ZL1 pedals, convertible strut tower bar, heritale grill, ZL1 catback, 1LE rear diffuser to accept the catback, etc. Factory mods ROCK!
