Trying to come up with a name...
 

I am trying to come up with ideas as to what I should call my black 1SS... I was thinking Black Betty(like the song by Ram Jam, look it up if you dont know it). Anyone have any ideas? What name are you giving yours?

Sometimes it takes a while for the Chevy to get a nickname.

Let the personality of the car feed you the name that will fit it. No need to rush to assign a name. Give it some time when you can actually get the feel, personality and character of the car and the perfect name will come to you. Take your time.

I'm one of the guys that think these new Camaro's should have a masculine name, not a feminine one. Having said that, the only woman I ever think of when I hear the name Betty, is Betty Page!!! So because of that, I really can't blame you...'cause I still think she very well may have been the hottest woman who's ever walked the earth!!!

I'm not going to lie. Black Betty is a pretty terrible name.

Go with something like Phantom, Shadow, or Beast. Those sound more intimidating. My buddy's Jeep it called Street Monster, if that gives any inspiration.

When our family started calling Chevy's Betsie's in the post WWII era it was just to coax them to start on a cold day.
