Bakersfield BBQ
 

I was thinking with as many Camaro5 family there is around the Bakersfield area and even possibly teaming with the Bakersfield Camaro Club, what do you guys think of possibly doing a little cruise from the west side of town to Hart Park (meet at maybe Riverwalk Park and cruise to Hart Park) and maybe doing a BBQ and small show and shine over at the park? On top of the BBQ if we had someone with a good camera (which obviously is not my crappy camera from the 90's) we could get a good picture with all the rides that show up out by Ming Lake or even at the park. With summer fast approaching us it's the perfect time for a show and shine and with the fast growing family a perfect time for all of us to meet in person instead of being behind a screen and username! Any Camaro would be welcome not just the Gen 5's but the older rigs that started us as well! I know we have to have some Camaro5 family members who are part of the Bakersfield Camaro Club who could invite all of them as well. Of course this is just an idea but one I've been hoping would grow as the family did. Anyone in the area interested chime in! If we get enough interest we could put together a list of people coming and set a date for all of us to meet.

Yeah that would be great. I missed out on the Bakersfield meet you all did and know a few members here in Bakersfield who have just purchased some new Gen 5's and would like to get to meet up and introduce ourselves to everyone and see everyones rides in person (yours especially :D).

We'd have to arrange it sometime before it got to hot because this summer here in Bako is going to be a scorcher!

I think that could work for me. How's the weather lookin for early May?

Just not the first weekend of May, as I have to work that weekend.

Maybe 2nd week of May and weather is usually warm and sunny, perfect for a BBQ.

Should it be a Saturday or Sunday? What works best for every one?

i can do either sats or suns. just not the 15th.

For some reason, BCC chooses to meet on Wednesdays rather than Saturdays, so Sat might not be too good for those guys... Check with Trevor though for sure.
