I still like the IBM blue the best! Maybe it would look better in person...

I agree too gray. Glad I jumped on the 2012 IBM when I did! |

I really don't understand the reason for dumping IBM for this... considering they're close in color, but IMO the IBM would outsell it any day. I seen it on a corvette and you really can't tell that its a blue until you get close up.

I've said it before, but this color is really dark. It only pops in the sunlight and when it pops it doesn't look like a blue, it has so much metallic in it that it goes grey.
Having said that, I am actually looking at this color for a 2013 Tahoe......interestingly, on the Tahoe it is an extra cost color. |
This color seems like it has an identity crisis. Regardless, I like it!

Love that color....

It'll be interesting to see pix of an IBM Camaro next to a BRM in the same lighting conditions.
We seriously considered, as in went to see it 3x and test drove, a 12 IBM vert, but decided on 2013. IBM can also look near black in low light. They both shift in color. IMO BRM is only a bit darker than IBM and the flecks in IBM are a bit more blue. Very close. Thanks for the pix! |
Well, different strokes for different folks. Personally I am glad I got the 2012 IBM, but as others have said, final judgement needs to be in person. I like the color shift on IBM, seems almost purple, then blue, then near black at times. Wish I had leather though ;)

Its looks way to gray for me. you cant really tell what color it is until its next to something else. I liked IBM way more IMO!

I saw this color on the new Impala and 60th aniversary Corvette at Woodward and didn't care for it. That along with these pics is enough to convince me I'm getting IOM instead!

Actually saw a blue ray 2ss today. It was parked next to a IBM Silverado and when I saw the darker Camaro I knew it was blue Ray metallic. Intersting how it was optioned. NPP exhaust with no rear spoiler.
I also think I like the new wheels because of how much the brakes show. Anyway, I would liken blue ray metallic to the color of A overripe blueberry. It was overcast so the metallics weren't popping. It was good looking Camaro regardless. My overall reaction is positive, moreso if I could see the we car in full sun light. |
new pic of a car that had not been prepped yet.
