i know i have not posted on here much at all. but i have read a ton. i just want to say thank you all for all your great info. it is cause of you and your info that i have chosen to upgrade my current 97 z/28 with a new 2014. yea i do think they are a bit pricey but it will be worth it. i look forward to posting more once i have a 5 gen. i hope evey one has a great holiday weekend. :thumbup:

On a side note 2cnd where did your sig pic come from? I assume this is a 5.5 gen. It really shows off the new profile if so. Anyone say this pic, or any pic of the Z/28 for that matter, is f'in ugly? I guess as one one of our presidents famously once paraphrased, "It depends on what your definition of f'in ugly is."

Get the Z/28 OP. I hope it's closer to $60k than $100k. Or like me, get yourself a "poor" mans Z/28, a 1LE. :nod:

It was a Z/28 photoshop per my asking. I've not heard anything negative regarding it or the Z/28. :thumbup:

i would love my new one to look like that, i love the red cage. if it is supposed to be a cage. it really sets it off. and i know what i want already if they make it once the opt list comes out. :)

It looks much more aggressive than a 2010-2013 from the front. However I like all the 5Gen's.

Is the cage an option? Red please.

Also white lettered tires should make a comeback.

i really like that red, it sure breaks up the white. i may have to steal your idea when i get mine. i guess i could try it out in my 97. it would give me a reason to put the cage in that has been sitting in the garage since nov last year. i don't think it would look as cool tho
