5th Gen Camaro Lambo Doors???

I've looked everywhere online and I have yet to find a kit for under 700. The so called " universal kits" only work if the kit is welded on. Anyone have any better luck?

The doors will bolt on to existing holes. No welding or special modifications.Attachment 117956

I don't think there's a bolt on kit out there for less than $1400(e-Pay)..:(

Why would you want that on a camaro? Waste of money and looks out of place.

cyber_satan 04-26-2010 01:46 PM

it doesnt look that good but it doesnt looks that bad ...!

I really hate calling this rice. In fact, I like the look and function. This adds a head-turning feature to the car, and it avoids door dings. As a cosmetic change, it is no different than adding a body kit, spoiler, rims, interior kit, or any of the other expensive cosmetic changes we can make to our cars. :iono:

Buy a lambo, if you want lambo doors.

I agree. I personally wouldn't add lambo doors unless it was a show car, but it doesn't look too bad on a 2010 Camaro.

I'll pass on the lambo doors, they look good on certain cars, but to me, it just looks out of place on a Camaro.

I didnt like them at first but they kinda grew on me, dont know if I'd pay that much for them tho

CamaroBAMF28 04-26-2010 04:33 PM

is there any other kits????? that kit is 1600 !!

Apex Paul 04-26-2010 04:33 PM

The only kit we offer is way more than $700. I'm not aware of any that are in that price range...yet. As the car ages, the aftermarket supply will catch up with demand and you will see the price go down. How long before it reaches the price range you are looking for is anybody's guess, but I wouldn't bet on it for a couple of years.

There is also the "rice factor" as stated in the thread already. There are a lot of people who perceive this as a modification that only "ricer's" would do and so the demand may never reach as high as it would on other car models. I can't say that I agree with that. I believe that personalizing a car is just that, personal. I wouldn't buy a Chevy Malibu, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't make it!
