CAMARO 5 FEST IV TRAILER

Didn't see this posted....

So there is a DVD that is going to drop... soon?!

GbrilliantQ 09-08-2013 11:02 PM

Hmm interesting. I remember hearing about a DVD but not much else.

From my Note

bluetooth-ss 09-09-2013 04:39 PM

Looks like a cool vid

DARK AGE 53 09-09-2013 05:35 PM

What's the running time on the DVD?

Supercharged SS 09-09-2013 05:39 PM

Not long. 10-15 minutes from what I've been told. They did a great job on the trailer. I have prob 15 minutes of raw footage. They were going to do a full minute on my car but the car didn't quite cooperate.

tjk_art 09-09-2013 05:41 PM

$45 for a DVD? Is that a joke?

It's probably getting no views because people are afraid they're going to get a bill just for watching the trailer.

GbrilliantQ 09-09-2013 05:53 PM

45 bucks for 15 mins?

That's cool...

From my Note

DARK AGE 53 09-09-2013 06:10 PM

If it's anywhere close to only 15 minutes you can count me out.

Overflow 09-09-2013 06:16 PM

Yeah.. Sorry but I won't be paying $45 for 15 minutes of film.. I wouldn't even pay $30 for that.

TBone 09-09-2013 09:22 PM

:26 second mark, YEA BEH BEH!!!!!!!:headbang:

tramtwo 09-09-2013 10:01 PM

Who said it was 15 minutes? I still can't figure out if this site even endorses it. I found out about it third hand.

I met with the black jacket guys before they even started filming. I also texted with them last week. That's when I got all the raw footage. I don't think they are endorsed here yet. They prob don't know the protocol.

tramtwo 09-10-2013 09:16 AM

Thanks for the response... So you have ALL the raw footage... or is 15 minutes of raw footage surrounding your car's story maybe?

Can't believe this level of production is for only a 15 minute 45 dollar DVD. I also believe even less that there is not some relationship set up all ready.

This is being posted up for Dan. Obviously they did a LOT to get this done and it's going to be one hell of a DVD.

There will be a limited run of copies made. I have all prior fest "stuffs" so I'm picking one up for sure. :D

His contact info should it be needed. ;)

Is there any information about this DVD, like how long the runtime is? Interviews with GM staff? Interviews with attendees? Which events were covered and for how long?

I figure these are all the questions everyone is going to have about why they should spend $30 on a DVD...

The Stig 09-17-2013 10:24 AM

here's the video embedded:

30$ seems much more reasonable than 45$. Id also like to know what else is in the vid, I did see them interviewing a few people so Im sure there are some interviews.

I did event photography and videography for 5 years, and my wife still does it, the price is on par for what is usually charged for private events, especially if they have low expectations on how many copies they have sold, the quality of the video/editing (which looks great), and for an event that lasted 2-3 days, with a crew.

When we do horse shows/events, we charge 45$ to film, edit, and mail a dvd for about 10 mins of footage. Granted its for one person. But if you tried to equate that to 50 people and a couple days of footage, cut down to an hour video, 30 is about right.

It's only $30 if you pre-order before October 8th. After that it's $45.

It would be kind to shufti the whole thing! Please post!

62nalide 09-17-2013 05:18 PM

$45? It better have a wet T-shirt contest filmed on there. Other forums sale them for $15-$20 bust for a 5hr DVD.
