Has anyone had their windows tinted with 3M Crystalline?

I'm thinking about getting all my windows tinted with 3M Crystalline but wandering if any other ZL1's had this done and if so how much did it cost.

Why not ask this of the general discussions, someone over there might have.

It's not so bad over there, most of them don't actually thing we are all snobs.

I've been researching different films and I've talked to several independent installers. They basically all said you're just paying for the 3M name and it is way over priced for what it is. So I don't know if that is true or not...

Got it, 35% tint, sides & rear, $250

My tint guy recommended (and installed) FormulaOne Pinnacle rather than 3M; something
about less layers, better clarity.
I had 3M Ceramic on my SS and I can say the FormulaOne is clearer (35%)

I got 1 quote for about $700 for all the windows. That seemed a little steep to me.

It's the highest quality available, have it all around. Worth the extra dough

I got the ceramic. It's a tad bit fuzzier than the other but it repels heat the best.

They saw your car and figured you'd just spend it...
That's an outrageous price!

I agree. I got a quote for pinnacle for my car and it was $250. If I wanted a windshield header it was $30 more. I just went in and got a quote. No car needed. As far as they are concerned I have a 1lt Camaro.

I got Llumar security film on all side and back windows and 3M tint on all windows, 15% on sides and rear, 50% on windshield with a 15% brow for a total cost of $295. A price of $700 is pretty steep, in my opinion.

How did you get away with tint on the windshield? It was my understanding that unless you had a medical exception windshield tint was illegal.

There you go! I am told that Indiana is somewhat lenient with window tints.
