Pipes is pipes, doesn't make a difference if soft top or coupe.

I think this is the route for me this sounded really good. Don't want to offend anyone but to me personally i hate the pop that comes with the headers and aftermarket exhausts ive heard on the zl1. This sounds clean and loud and seems to be what I am looking for.

Do you have any additional details as to is there a specific place they are mounted or is it just right after the cats?

You see there's the rub, mine are so loud with HF cats I can't drive with them open all the time. I've heard mine before and after the HF cats, and before they sound around 2X louder than the exhaust normally does.

Here's mine ...

Slingshot: Where Did You Get Those Rear (Front) Splash-Guards?

Can someone explain to me for the money why would anyone get this setup before getting long tube headers? It's a lot of money for no hp!

serviceguy 09-15-2013 04:34 PM

myself, I don't want a check engine light or a tune

I believe the video on their website showed +18 HP, however most people don't do exhaust work for the HP boost, they do it for the sound.
