Hi Guys,

I missed these update post, somehow i got unsuscribed from the thread and missed the updates.

We have been working on getting the kit completed. I do apologize for the delay. Rest assured, if anyone wants their deposit back, we will refund the deposit. We are by no means trying to mislead you or steal from anyone on the rear quarter sale.

We did promise we would deliver parts within 6-8 weeks from having reached 40 pre-order sales. We are actually at 24.

This being said, we still went forward and invested in completing the tooling and production of the parts. We are now at the final stage and ready to produce parts. Unfortunately, I hate setting a date on something that is variable, we are very close to completing the kit. I do thank everyone for their patience and understanding on the matter. You wont be disappointed with the kit.

Feel free to email us directly, info@acscomposite.com

As I said...I'm a patient person as long as updates are coming...I'm in Afghanistan right now so I have plenty of time to be patient... hope you can get these out before August.

This all means what as far as final production and distribution time tables? Is this the final deal as far as design since some have desired a unit that was deeper.
Also curious as to difference to what was initially depicted on thread to where you are now, which caused the delay. Thanks!

ACS Composite 06-12-2013 08:24 AM

Cosmetic design is the same, we just changed the tooling design and manufacturing methods / installation procedure.

Can you update the pre order list on page 1? How many are actually enrolled?

Also, how much will CF hydro dipping add to the purchase price?

zkdreads 06-14-2013 04:31 PM

are you guys going to make these deeper/make it wider? if so any pictures of the deeper ones?

ACS Composite 06-14-2013 04:47 PM

No plans to.

So far we only sold 25 sets of the current design. Reading the thread you'll learn we were hoping for 40 pre orders. We do need to sell a few hundred to recuperate our investment, until then, I wont be designing a deeper version of the same product.

We did consider the feedback of deeper design, but it was too late since all the data was done and tooling was released.

Rest assured the current design is very pleasing to the eye, and is extremely noticeable. Feedback of individuals who have seen it has been great. Personally i think our current version suits the car much better.

Nice:happyanim:

How much will CF hydro option cost...

chozn4service 06-18-2013 09:06 PM

I want and would like to see the finished product I guess. When they're ready to go, I'll pull the trigger. Guess it'll be a winter project for me, have them painted to match RJT and then the surgery. Right now is car show season and can't afford any down time or having money tied up with summer travels etc..... Thanks for the updated info!

Currently in Afghanistan...I can be reached by PM.

:thanks::clap2:

chozn4service 07-10-2013 12:05 PM

Will there be an updated install shown? Like to see what's up before a trigger pull and squeeze.

ACS Composite 07-10-2013 08:47 PM

Some of you have called asking us to trim the rear section of the port. This was an option I had mentioned previously.

The ports are available, but these are sold closed and with a carbon inset. If you wish, we can replace the inset by octagonal mesh material at no extra charge.

Unfortunately we wont be offering the option to trim the back side. You can do this on your own, it was a a simple 1/2'' offet from the back wall.

Firefighter 07-10-2013 08:57 PM

I should have gotten in on these...

Here is the order link for new orders

http://www.acscomposite.com/store/#!...67&id=14152688

For those that enrolled on the pre-order and were more than patient, we have set up a option in the product with the discount and deposit calculated in.
