I am looking at purchasing the same wheels for the reasons. These pics are really helping me choose. What size did you decide on and where did you purchase them?

midnighter 01-20-2013 08:34 PM

Looks like more attention is towards buying your stocks wheels than to your new Forgestars.

69NMYSS 01-20-2013 11:21 PM

Needs lowered, get rid of all that fender gap and would look mean

Trackman 01-20-2013 11:21 PM

With the 18x10 are you planning to road race as well? I am considering a narrower front wheel and taller 28" tires for drag strip. Thank you for posting. Your pictures are helping me decide on my set up.

I run the 305/35-18 at the track and they are definitely shorter than stock..probably 3" shorter. Next time I will get 305/45-18. With a 6spd car it probably is of no consequence, but with an auto the transmission shifts at weird rpm due to the wheel speed being different than indicated. Most times it is fine.

c4maroboy 01-21-2013 10:03 AM

loooks sharp! maybe ill buy these if my dealer cant come up with the 10 spokes for me!

charlietuna 01-21-2013 10:25 AM

looks fantastic hope the hook up well

ace32x 01-21-2013 11:19 AM

looks good! im debating pulling the trigger on these myself in 20x10 and 20x11.5 rear

John Deere Racer 01-21-2013 11:23 AM

Looks great

ace32x 01-21-2013 01:52 PM

on a side note for those interested i have a set of polished 5 spokes that im wanting to sell to pick some other wheels up (sorry op not trying to thread jack)

pluckracin 01-21-2013 07:27 PM

yes i plan to drag race at z max and road coarse the car at vir, and yes they make these wheels in 18 19 20 & 22 up to 12" wide in your offset of choice or custom build in other words. i am not going to lower the car because it wont stay like this,i will be back and forth with the 18" and 20 "now offset for front no more then 30+ mm on a 18 " more and it will hit steering spindle upper bracket . offset for rear still good 39+mm. tire height for 18" is 26.42 and 20" is 28.58 which gives a little more gear in the quarter mile run with smaller size. hope i this helps

I was told by Tony that the f14's in 20's wont work on the front of the ZL1.

pluckracin 01-21-2013 08:20 PM

you pick the offset to clear on the frt.

He said on the 20's the f14's couldnt be cut down that far.Said I would have to run the c10's.But I want mine tucked under the fender, and not sticking out any, maybe thats why...:iono:

yea, im going to be poking about half inch. going to camber it in about a degree and a half and lower it an inch to get it set back in

Nine Ball 02-11-2013 06:20 AM

The drag wheels look great! I test fit a few 18s on the front of my CTS-V last night, to confirm 18s cleared the front brakes. No issues, even though Forgestar initially told me that 18s wouldn't clear ZL1/CTS-V brakes. Better to test, than assume :)

This is correct, the 20x10.0 F14 is only available in offset ranges +31 to +69. The factory 20x10 ZL1 wheel is +25.

Tony

ace32x 02-11-2013 01:23 PM

The 20x10 doesn't come in the stock offset. But the 20x10.5 is available in a +25 in the deep concave which is what I was referring to and planning on running.

BeardWS6 03-21-2013 01:56 PM

How much for them?
