Possibly one of the scariest games EVER
Anybody ever play Amnesia: The Dark Descent?
It's set in a castle in 1893, you wake up, you just know that your name is Daniel, and there are no weapons PERIOD. You have to hide/escape all the monsters in the castle. You do have a lantern, but it has a very limited amount of oil, and must be replenished by finding canisters around the castle. You also have a sanity meter that dwindles when you see/look at something scary (monster, entity, weird stuff growing on walls) or hide in the dark for too long. This game has a HUGE puzzle factor to it as well. Here's the trailer: I really want this game now. And of course, a reaction video. Contains a bit of language, but I was pretty much too busy laughing my ass off:sm0: There is a demo on Steam if you're willing to try it out. You can pick it up now at a mere $20.00 |
I am a horror buff... I'm def considering this...

Seriously on that second video, stop living in your mom's basement is all I gotta say.

I played the demo, it's definitely pretty freaky!

If the game gets to him this much can u imagine him at one of those halloween haunted houses. He would honestly die of fright. Wierdo, but his friends ragging on him is hilarious.

I've always heard tho that it's useless having more than 8 GB of RAM since there's not really any (if any) games that require more than 8 GB of RAM. The only games that I can think of that uses 8 GB are Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Metro: 2033. |

I just finished up a budget build for playing Battlefield 3. Came in just under $700 from Newegg. Here are the specs: AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 GHz Black Edition Biostar A870U3 MB ASUS GeForce GTX 460 1GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 OCZ ModXStream 700W PSU Windows 7 Home Cooler Master 922 Case Attachment 269819 Attachment 269820 Attachment 269821 It handles Crysis at the highest settings and 1900x600 with just a little blur when spinning the gun around. :D |
