Cruise w/ Lone Star Camaro July 27th

We're having a cruise starting at Lake Ray Hubbard and ending at a fellow member's house for burgers and dogs.

Come out and get to know some of your fellow DFW area Camaro enthusiasts! If you want to enjoy only the cruise, that's cool, or you can stay and have a bite to eat and get to know us a bit.

So, here's the scoop!

Sunday, July 27th we are LEAVING the Bayview Marina at Lake Ray Hubbard at 10:30am to start our cruise towards Scurry. The cruise is roughly about 40 miles and includes one pitstop/potty break. Then, we'll arrive at our destination in Scurry. Lynn (BartmanTx) has offered up his grill, house and yard for us to come out and hang. (♥ Thank you, Lynn!! ♥)

If you're into taking pictures of your car, there should be a couple of good spots at the marina, but remember, we are leaving at 10:30am, sharp! Don't get left behind while you're snapping photos!

Bayview Marina is located at 600 Cooke Dr #100, Rowlett, TX.

Lynn will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers and water. LSC is bringing chips and ice.

Be sure to bring your lawn chair, sun screen and canopy (if you have one- Lol!)

Remember, we're leaving Bayview Marina @ 10:30am!

Please sign up either here or at Lone Star Camaro's forum so we can get a good head count for the food. :)

See y'all soon!

Will do! :)

anglwngss 07-01-2014 08:05 PM

This is coming up in a couple of weeks! Also, I wanted to update that Lynn is providing all of the burgers & dogs, LSC is bringing chips. So all you have to bring is yourself, a chair, your Camaro, and be ready to have a great day!

Ps. Please let us know if you're coming, so we can be sure to have enough food & water for everyone.

We've only got a couple of weeks left. Looks like about 21 Camaros signed up so far. Anyone is welcome to join us! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!

This is coming up this Sunday! It is a 47 mile cruise just east of Dallas. Starting in Rowlett/Rockwall and ending in Scurry. You do not have to be a member of Lonestar Camaro to cruise with us! Meeting at the Park by Bayview Marina. This is the Dalrock exit off of Interstate 30 and is the park to the south of the highway. 600 Cooke Rd, Rowlett for your GPS. We will be leaving at 10:30 am! When we arrive in Scurry - there will be food provided by one of our members and the club. Come on out and cruise with us!

Count me in! It's probably asking alot but, will we be encountering any speed bumps on this cruise?

Shelzbiz 07-24-2014 10:33 PM

There are no speed bumps, however we are traveling some back country roads. Most of the roads are good as I tried to stick to the better roads, but there are a few parts on some of the roads that are wavy. Most of them, as long as there isn't a car coming the opposite way, you can move to the middle of the road and avoid a lot of the waves/bumps. Nothing was major though. I have drove the route twice now and will be checking it out one more time on Saturday. We will also be parking in the grass at our host's home in Scurry. I do believe you will be ok.

Bluelt1ss 07-26-2014 09:14 PM
