Track day cars only? do the lowly autoX camaro's count?

AutoX is fun...but performance cars enjoy getting their exercise on a race track....an HPDE is about as much fun as you can have in a car. AutoX gets a few runs a day of about a minute....an HPDE gets at least 5 sessions of 20-25 minutes.

You can sign up before for advise before you go. I signed up several months agoand just had my first track two weeks ago.

How did it go? It's got to be a little nerve-wracking at first. So are you hooked? plan on doing it again? I know I will probably catch the bug. :lol:

It was awesome. I went to Daytona which is a good starter course with just 6 turns. I watched some in car videos before I went to get a better feel for the track. That in combination with my instructor driving during the parade laps before we started helped me learn the lines. I was nervous but surprised myself when my instructor signed me off to go solo the second half of the day.

Defiantly hooked and my friend that came to watch was mad at himself for not signing up. You will love it for sure, keep us posted afterwards.

Hey guys within a couple hrs.of Fontana (Calif.speedway)I am trying to put together a C5 discount track day at Fontana with speedventures,and the answer is yes,they will work with us.Do we have anyone interested? The date will be August 11th.
