Problem with dealer orders
I just had a disturbing conversation with my dealership in central Illinois. Their GM rep has told them they can expect 1 or 2 Camaros this year and that the "sold" orders may not be filled. They have at least 6 sold orders but now don't believe any of those orders will be filled. Has anyone else heard of this happening???

Thats not gonna happen, GM cant afford not to build these cars. Ive heard that rumor many times.

Any chance your dealer is on GM's list of 1700 "to be closed" dealers?
|
Wow, I don't know where to start. So much BS. Just find another dealer. They obviously don't have a clue.

Not enough info to form an opinion.

Sold orders will probably all be built within the next 6 - 8 weeks. Stock cars are already becoming available on dealer's lots. Production numbers are cause for optimism. The General NEEDS this car to be successful, especially this year. |

i recieved some info from a source that the plant is up to 300 cars an day now and expected to be at 450 a day by june. so with that said I wouldnt worry about GM building them, just the time it takes to get by QC and get to your driveway.

My BS meter is just about at MAX on this one.
