Pumpkin [COTW 12/5/11]
 

You have to start some where. How about where it all began. June 29th 2009 when I first layed my eyes on Pumpkin.:wub:

I peeled off the shipping tape and removed the plastic from the drivers seat, bolted on my plate and drove Pumpkin back to the dealer from train yard.

June 30th 2009 the Happy Day. Pumpkin lost in the in-famous Area 51 for 59 days. Became one of the final four in Area 51.

Merc and my daughter Alisha took official delivery of Pumpkin at my Dealer Preston Chev Langley BC.

One of the first mods was a Hennessy CAI and MSD wires. Sorry no photo's. Eventaully sold the Hennessy:mad0260: and replace it with a Vararam.:thumbsup:

My home track is Mission Raceway Park NHRA division 6 in Mission BC CDN. We have a great Friday Night Street Legal program there sponsered by Mopac Auto Supply.

I have to admit the first year I was a bit of a jack -ss could not get Pumpkin to go faster then 13.91 @ 109 mph.:facepalm:

However with a few mod's and a couple of tips from from some forum member I did a little better and managed to make a fast C5 fast list.:happyanim:Photo by Larry.:thumbsup:

My buddy Derrek and I set out to install MSD 2-Step, Shift Light and TCI Roll Control. Due to some un-forseen issues we were only able to get the MSD Shift light operational.:mad0260: Next year the will all be working for some visits to the track.:thumbsup:

My car was stuck in Area 51 for 60 days. I knew it was in Anninacis Isle before the dealer did. They were not willing two call my bluff when I told them to deliver it by June 30th or keep it.:thumbsup:

Pumpkin's 1st Show n Shine
 

Put Pumpkin in the first Show n Shine September of 09. Big hit, at the time there were not a whole lot of 2010 Camaro's around. It was a fun day , but very long. Full time job just watching and keeping peoples paw's off it.:mad0260:

One of the weekends highlights was dinner with Scott the night before the show. My good buddy Gene had his car signed by Scott that night. As well some cool photo opp's. (BTW Colleen hates my shirt:facepalm:)

Pumpkin is lookin' incredible. :w00t: The underhood really stands out. I personally like the 315DRs, the much better exhaust and the kickin' tunes. Nice...

ACT/Stillen Clutch
 

Almost forgot. When I broke the output shaft in Pumpkin.:facepalm: I had the dealer throw in a fresh clutch while they were there.:thumbsup:

Pumpkin Litho
 

I was lucky enough to recieve a litho from Mike (Super 60):bow:. So Colleen and I figured it would be cool to take a few shots of Pumpkin with the litho and send them to him. We sent a couple. Apparently one of the pic's ended up in the lunch room in Oshawa and one in Mikes office. Too Cool:thumbup:. Pic's taken on the banks of the mighty Fraser River. (Worlds largest salmon producing rivers.:thumbsup:

That's a pile of work you did today.We had a good time on that trip to Whistler and will be a blast next spring in Phoenix. Pumpkins looking good Bud.:D

How has your car been for reliablilty?? How has the 1-2 shift been on your tranny? Been seeing allot of people complaining about the 1-2 shift:iono: Hoping mine doesn't have this issue. I have bought a MGW shifter but here shifters aren't fixing the problem for those that have it.
