2011 Camaro Warranty Question.

So I just ordered my 2011 Black w/Orange Stripes and Black/Orange Interior. Due to the price I am not able to get an extended warranty and sticking with basic 3 yr/30,000. Is it okay to stay with that or should I cut options on the car. Is the extended paint warranty really worth it? Thanks

Remember, you have until the warranty has expired to get the extended warranty. If you can not afford it now, you can always wait.

The paint warranty is crap and most of them only covers defects and does not cover rock chips or door dings.

2011 warranty is 3 years 36000 miles bumper-to-bumper. 5 years 100,000 miles powertrain.

That 3yr/36k line is what they tell you when they want to sell you extended warranties...

Powertrain is where it counts and that is 5yr/100K... don't buy the extended warranty...

Sorry chaps -- should have realized...

I was given a "Warranty Forever" by the dealer at no charge (Bale Chevrolet - Arkansas) TBH - i really have not looked into, but on the face of it covers Powertrain while I own the vehicle, does not look to be transferable. It has that wonderful line " does not cover Breakdowns caused by or involving modifications unless those modifications were performed by the manufacturer' and some other BS about servicing every 7500 by a dealer.....so now I have had a closer look just realized its :bs:

Guess I'll use the document as firelighter in that case.....
