2014 Camaro RS vs 2014 Charger R/T

I know that the comparison is a little bit off (hence, coupe vs full size sedan, v6 vs v8.... etc.).. and I'm asking in a Camaro forum  but if you are at the same condition as this, what would you do?

I tried to build a Camaro v6 and Charger v8 (r/t) with a couple of options in TrueCar, and I got similar price (around 33k).
What I have thought in comparing those two are:

Camaro
1. More reliable (?) and higher resale value <- this one really matters though, when buying a new car...
2. Way more appealing looks than the Charger
3. Better safety rating (all 5 stars)
4. Available HUD, cleaner and simpler MID, head unit, dashboard

Charger
1. More practical (4+1 passengers, more cargo room)
2. More "tech-savvy" (keyless entry and start, more options and settings in the head unit, blind spot available, etc.)
3. Better visibility (to be honest I've just ever driven the Camaro, even it's the 2011 one, but seeing from the outside tells me that this is true)
4. More power, of course

and both lists will continue....
anyway, seeing the similar price and comparing both of them (you can add your ones too!), which one would you choose and why?

Nearly every comparison you made is just your opinion so can't really argue there. Anyway, it's a Camaro forum so not one is going to say get the charger.

In the end which one do you want to drive?

I chose between the V6 Camaro and an Evo X MR, obviously I picked the Camaro, why? Because I wanted it just a little bit more.

What do you want?

Charger!!!! I don't think a V6 Camaro is going to hold value better than a simalirly optioned Charger RT JMO.

I think Pi kappa alpha is correct. Most of what you listed is opinion. i HAVE AN 08 CHARGER V6 AS MY DAILY DRIVER AND love IT! Bought a 2010 Camaro 2SS and love it too. But.....I tink the new Chargers look outstanding. My next car after the Camaro is most likely an SRT Charger. You cant go wron either way. Both really good cars. I would disagree with you on reliability. Both are pretty good. Good luch with which ever yo choose. Also, if you dont have to buy new, there are some great deals on low miles SS Camaros out there. I got my 2010 2SS with 20k miles on it for $23K. Just a thought.

I would find a nice SS ( used low miles) for that same $33000.
But of the 2 I would get the R/T.

Btw I got my 2ss used , options just like I wanted , 6000 miles , 2 years ago less than $29k

They both hold their value pretty well but the Charger might have the edge their. If you need the room go with the Charger. If it's just a fun car to drive around the Camaro sounds right for you.

Charger RT full size sedan V8 nice inside with the leather.

...
Wouldn't trade my Camaro though lol

buy a member's car from the for sale section here for the 33k. I would bet it was taken care of immensly well and have a few cool mods that someone has done that you don't have to do! Im doing this next time around haha

Used Camaro SS > V8 Charger > V6 Camaro

If you have a family get the charger, but if you don't plan on starting a family and having a small posse when traveling then get the Camaro SS that is.
