To all the haters on Camaro5 that leave negative feedback

I have posted few Threads on here and im hooked. Love the Camaro5 forum., I have learned a lot from the awsome Thread and Topics. There are lot of cool people on here. But one thang that really bothers me the most, there are few here that always replys negative comments and talk alot of smack. Sometimes the truth hurts to a guy that spent hours or days puting racing stripes on his dream car. These so call haters have noting better to do just sit behind his or her monitor, and say the rudest comments or a very negative feedback. Like the example of the guy that did a racing stripe to his own car. Was very excited with the way it look. But then after hearing all the negativity they ruined the excitement for him, they killed his high moment, he wont ever look at his car the same way. We are all brothers, we all drive the best car in the world, we allhad the best summer with our cars. So please guys be a lil more cooler especialy towards our camaro brothers. Thanks just wanted to get this off my chest. Peaceee

Ahh this is an age old debate. Sorry but I would rather give and get honest feedback from people instead of a candy coated rosey world of everyone kissing my ass and being my "brother".

I would hope that if I did my own racing stripe and it looked bad, that people would tell me. Can you imagine the guy that claimed he invented Direct Exhaust Injection if nobody told him how stupid that idea was and he actually brought that idea to someone in real life.

Anyways if you cant handle kids screaming, stay off xbox live, if you cant handle honest criticism stay off the intertubez. No need to pretend things look good if they dont. BTW link to said stripes?

But you have such informative, real live great advice brother!!!..... NOT...Kiss my ass!!!!:paddle:

J/K...I kid I kid!!!!:sm0:...The OP has some valid points....but if everyone liked exactly the same thing that you like.....BORING....

If your willing to post it on a forum, you gotta take the good with the bad!

that being said, I still think folks can disagree and be respectful!!!

I think maybe he has a valid point in that you can tell someone your opinion but don't have to be rude or nasty about it.

Hicompression 09-09-2010 07:38 AM

I told a guy his exhaust system sounded like doo-doo after he posted a video clip of it. He agreed and appreciated my input.

/\ THIS! If you can't be respectful when voicing your opinion then it's better if it's left unsaid. There is a difference between constructive criticism and just being rude and disrespectful.

skuttduck 09-09-2010 09:01 AM

Agreed. There is a big difference between.

"If you like it, than that is all that matters, but the (item) is not for me"
and
"Only a riceboy wannabe would do something like that. I wouldn't be caught dead driving a car with (item). Can I have 15 seconds of my life back for reading your dumb post?"

CamaroSkooter 09-09-2010 09:16 AM

While I believe that you can be honest with someone and still be respectful, there are some times when someone posts something so rediculous that there really is no way to express your opinion without totally crushing whatever joy that person had for the particular modification in question. Good examples of this are Wal-Mart stick-on hood scoops and those God awful 26-inch spinners that someone stuck on their V6 that we saw over a dozen seperate threads posted and reposted about a few months back. There's just no polite way of saying, "That's fugly!" sometimes.

I guess I am part of the internet first generation, so it really doesn't affect my personal life when someone says something. But in response to the OP's post....
