Looks like white leather in that pic. But if it was a base Camaro it was likely light blue cloth huh.

My brand new '79 Camaro that I bought while in the Army. Stupid wheel trim rings kept popping off. I miss that car. :upset:

The one that you obviously have no clue exists. :::sm0::sm0: |

1978 was a good year. I ordered my white Trans Am with no decals, the TA/6.6 (220HP/325TQ) engine, 4 speed manual transmission, no power anything, though I did get air conditioning, no radio and I did get an antennae in the windshield, too. I ordered the gold decals and had the dealer put them on. You could only get blue or red decals and I liked the gold 'screaming chicken'.

My first Camaro was a 78 I bought used while in college. It was kind of a golden/tan color.

My first Camaro was a 1975 that I bought in the early 90's...loved that car but I sold it to put a deposit on my fifth gen so it's ok! I had been doing a rolling restoration that included new rear subframes, frame connectors, flipped out the auto for a muncie 4 speed, installed new dual exhaust, new carpet, but never found a manual console, so you can see the rough shifter poking through... eB

This Thread has some potential... keep the pics coming...
