GM assistance
 

I had a problem with my order on my ZL1. I had to accept the matt black insert though I had ordered an exposed carbon fiber one. i opened a case with GM and was initially told by the first rep...sorry, can't help you. Went to that person's supervisor, a district rep...sorry....take it or give up your allocation. (right!!) I asked for her supervisor, (Jarod) who listed to my whole story and told me he would see what he could do. 5 weeks later I was informed by my dealership that the exposed carbon fiber insert was back on my order!!!! Jarod came through for me in flying colors!! Way to go Jarod, and GM. They actually cared about the little guy, and gave me what was fair and just. I am a happy man, but will be much happier when I see my car go past 3000.

I believe almost all new ZL1 builds are now with the exposed carbon fiber insert.

Yes, My dealer changed mine to exposed because the painted insert is on contraint
