Removing/replacing fender badges?
 

Has anyone ever thought about Removing the C.A.M.A.R.O badge on the front fenders, and replacing it with the ZL1 badge's thats on the hood, and leaving the hood badge-less?

Kinda like how the ZR1 has the ZR1 badges on the front fender and not C.O.R.V.E.T.T.E.

What do you guy's think? I would love to see someone do this...:thumbsup:

It's just my opinion, but i think that would look so much better than having the Camaro badge on the fenders...:iono:

i already recieved the badges but i was gonna place them under the camaro badging... Ur right, removing the "camaro" would look nice...

Where did you get the ZL1 badges? I have heard they're not available.

IMO, putting the ZL1 badges under the Camaro badge along with having the ZL1 badges on the hood scoop would start to look a little cluttered, but hey it's your car man...

I also think if someone was gonna put the ZL1 emblem on the fender, the ones on the hood scoop would have to go, but again just my opinion...

Where could I find the Camaro fender badges flat black or powder coat black for a good price? I'm having a hard time finding some that arent above $100. I'm ordering my stuff for the ZL1 before its arrival in a couple weeks

I agree...then again I plan on debadging the car entirely...or at least where I can.
I figure no need to advertise what I have (sleeper) since those that care/know about these cars will know, and those that don't really doesn't matter much.
Plus I like the cleaner look and not having to clean around/between the badges.

Are there any ZL1 emblems in the interior?
Maybe on the glove box or door somewhere?

I believe there is an emblem on the passenger side dash board and embroidered on the seats

X 2. I also have seen none around and would like to know where to get them. I asked emblem pros and they dont carry them but may in the future.

just type zl1 emblem..

Your dealer can order them. They are only around $38 each badge. The one from the hood angles down when put on the fender. The trunk emblem is flat and might be better for the fender.

What about the camaro fender badges?That's what Im looking for

Here is a link to a forum vendor selling custom painted lettering for $70 (both sides painted). He does pretty high quality work from my understanding. I have had him quote a few items for me for my ZL1 including lettering, tail light bezels, my strut brace and engine cover. I'm planning to order from Lupe (overhaulengines) in the next few weeks.
