Hey gang...if some of our ECC group comes down....is there a host hotel? If not, where would be a good, safe, yet affordable hotel?

PGA n 95; there's a Hilton (I think it is ) right off the exit I stayed at b4 an early morn PBIR day. Very clean and affordable. It's about 15 min from the track. There's others in the area as well upper and lower price depending on what your looking for. Nothing immediately adjacent to the track, it's in the middle of no where. ..

Yes...it's typical that they are not close....who would build a hotel next to all that noise???!!! 10-15 minutes is fine...we would just want to be safe, comfortable and our cars protected. That's about the same as Valdosta and other tracks. (The Atlanta dragway has some that are close though....we stayed at a really nice hotel where you could see the track from our room!!)

I'd recommend that Hilton. I left my camaro over night with no problems.... And I'm ridiculously picky where I Park. b but it's a good area all around

Justins00ss 08-03-2013 08:00 AM

yeah I agree with what Kev said. PGA 95 is a nice area. The cars should be fine there.

On another note. It will be nice to get back to the track again. Its been way too long. Between the baby and then all of the other issues with the car. Just need to get the nitrous spark plugs put in and get the bottles filled.
